Celebrating a Year of Success with a Highly Interactive Sales Meeting
Bringing together 500 of the top sales and marketing professionals and executives for one of S&P Globals’ most electrifying business units was the aim for this exhilarating annual sales meeting held in Las Vegas, NV.
- S&P brought their global team together to celebrate big wins and bold initiatives from 2023 and discuss how the team will dominate the market in the next year.
- With this spirited group, the CRO wanted to shake things up with a highly interactive, lively experience. The senior leadership wanted the attendees to stay engaged and excited throughout.
- Leadership wanted to recognize excellence and encourage connections among global team members.
The Strategy
Together with the S&P team, we developed a Rock and Roll theme that featured unexpected opportunities for participation that surprised and delighted the attendees.
- We produced two evening events where we were tasked with sourcing and managing the AV, production, teambuilding elements, and staging, and we brought in a unique entertainment group that specializes in interactive rock game shows to help.
The Actions
Working with an innovative music company called SongDivision, we built an agenda and event show flow packed with unique activities designed to keep the audience excited and focused.
These included:
- A Rock and Roll Game Show Opening Party including karaoke, name that tune, and live interactive, entertainment challenges for the audience
- A rehearsed and perfected flash mob to open the very first keynote session to wake up the audience and get them engaged
- Rock and roll themed slide decks, session transitions, and breaks.
- A DJ-led closing night party with cirque performers focused on amping up the party vibe and closing out the meeting with a bang.
The Results
From the CRO:
- “This meeting was flawless.”
- “We could not have done this without you.”
- “Your speaker direction and coaching was a HUGE factor in me feeling incredibly comfortable and secure during my keynotes.”
- We’re already in talks for next year, as well as a 3-city Users Conference Road Tour.
